**Receiving and Inspection**
- Receive yarn deliveries from suppliers and verify quantities against purchase orders.
- Inspect yarn for quality, shade, count, and any visible defects.
- Coordinate with the quality department for testing and approval before acceptance.
- Record all incoming materials in the system or register accurately.

2. **Storage and Preservation**
- Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent yarn damage due to moisture, pests, or contamination.
- Label and store yarn according to type, count, color, lot number, and supplier.
- Maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) or FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) system for yarn issuance.

3. **Inventory Control**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records (manual and/or computerized).
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the purchasing department when reorder levels are reached.
- Prepare periodic stock reports (daily, weekly, monthly).

4. **Issuance and Dispatch**
- Issue yarn to production departments (knitting, weaving, etc.) as per authorized requisitions.
- Maintain records of yarn issued and returned.
- Ensure timely dispatch of yarn to external processing units, if required.

5. **Documentation and Reporting**
- Maintain all documentation related to receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.
- Generate reports such as stock summary, slow-moving yarn, and consumption analysis.
- Support internal and external audits by providing records and explanations.

6. **System & ERP Management**
- Update yarn stock data in ERP or inventory management systems.
- Ensure barcode/lot tracking for traceability and efficiency.

7. **Team Supervision and Coordination**
- Supervise storekeepers and helpers in daily operations.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping.
- Coordinate with procurement, production planning, and quality departments.

8. **Safety & Compliance**
- Ensure compliance with storage safety standards and fire prevention measures.
- Train staff on proper handling and storage of yarn materials.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
