_**Yarn Winding & Quality Supervisor**_

**Role Overview**:
The Yarn Winding & Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the yarn winding process and ensuring consistent product quality as per customer and company standards. The role involves supervising machine operators, monitoring production output, implementing quality checks, and resolving winding/quality-related issues to achieve efficiency, minimize wastage, and maintain on-time deliveries.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Production & Winding Control**:

- Supervise daily winding operations (cone winding, cheese winding, precision winding, etc.).
- Allocate machines and manpower to meet production targets.
- Ensure optimum machine efficiency, proper settings, and preventive maintenance checks.
- Monitor yarn parameters (TPM, count, denier, elongation, cone hardness, etc.) during winding.
- Maintain accurate production records, wastage reports, and downtime analysis.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Implement in-process and final quality checks for yarn (shade variation, broken filaments, contamination, softness, cone-to-cone consistency, etc.).
- Identify and rectify yarn defects like slubs, knots, hairiness, uneven winding, and shade variations.
- Coordinate with dyeing and production teams to resolve quality-related issues at the source.
- Ensure compliance with buyer/customer specifications and internal quality standards.

**Team Supervision & Training**:

- Guide and monitor winding operators and helpers in machine handling and quality awareness.
- Conduct training sessions for workers on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety.
- Motivate the team to minimize wastage and improve efficiency.

**Process Improvement**:

- Suggest process modifications for reducing yarn breakage, winding defects, and shade variations.
- Work with maintenance and R&D for continuous improvement in winding quality and productivity.
- Implement lean practices and cost-saving measures in production and quality.

**Health, Safety & Compliance**:

- Enforce safety practices around winding machines and workplace.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and customer audits.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Diploma / Degree in Textile Technology or relevant field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in yarn winding, dyeing, or related têxtile operations.
- Strong technical knowledge of winding machines (Schlafhorst, Savio, Murata, Alidhara, etc.).
- Understanding of yarn properties, têxtile testing methods, and quality standards.
- Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of ERP/production planning software is an added advantage.

**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**:

- Production target achievement (kgs/day, cones/day).
- Reduction in yarn wastage and machine downtime.
- Consistency in yarn quality parameters.
- Customer complaint reduction.
- Worker efficiency and adherence to SOPs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
