You will be working as Shift Supervisor and will be part of Motion Business Area for System Drives Division based in Bangalore North, India. In this role you will be reporting to Manufacturing Unit Manager and will be responsible for knowing all safety and environmental rules/regulations that affect the work area. Ensuring the operation is run in compliance with health & safety policies and guidelines. Leading capacity planning and resource optimization

**Your responsibilities**:

- Identifying deficiencies in production, proposing improvements and overseeing their implementation
- Completing assignments and projects assembly on time. Accountable for personal and organizational results
- Maintains focus on Productivity improvement and assisting management and shift team in allocating, coordinating and over-seeing shift orders and work plan execution within production lines during the shift
- Classifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements. Serving as leader during shifts to oversee cooperation and the resolution of technical/quality problems and logistic issues
- Reinforcing focus on volume, efficiency and on time delivery. Leading a high quality, effective start of shift production meeting, ready to discuss all production issues, maintenance needs, etc. from the previous shift
- Maintaining awareness of current or potential process and/or equipment issues under their area of responsibility
- Using appropriate tools (WI’s, SOP’s, JIT’s, etc.) to establish and maintain a high level of operational and reliability discipline

**Your background**:

- Diploma (E&E or E&C) with 4+ years of work experience in Production as team lead /Shift supervisor in Drive or LT Panels manufacturing
- Thorough understanding or the ability to quickly learn production operations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven track record in leading continuous improvements projects
- Excellent supervisory and leadership skills along with time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ensuring optimal efficiency in production methods, equipment performance and materials/components. Identifying and implementing improvements to the Assembly process in line with cost, safety and timing requirements
- Investigating new methods, technologies and changes in equipment and process design to meet specifications Defining action plans for relevant breakdown of equipment and training to production resources
