**What success looks like in this role**:
Data Architect

Manage & Drive Platform Maturity
- Investigate, scope, and design new capabilities (e.g., business-facing data catalogue, private networking for Databricks).
- Define architectural standards for Databricks and Azure ecosystems (e.g., right-sized SQL warehouse endpoints)
- Recommend new tools and methods for competitive advantage

Strategic Guidance
- Advise on industry trends (e.g., Lakehouse Architecture, Unity Catalogue integration).
- Translate business needs into technical requirements (e.g., compliance with GDPR/NIST frameworks)
- Go beyond execution to help shape the platform’s future.

Collaboration
- Work with business stakeholders and technical teams to balance innovation with operational constraints.

Strategic Influence & Mentorship
- Define and Refine data strategy & Architecture.
- Industry Insights sharing
- Collaborate on defining the data platform roadmap
- Mentor Internal team and promote best practices

**You will be successful in this role if you have**:
BA/BS degree and 8+ years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
