Interior Designer

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Client Consultation**:

- Meet with clients to discuss their requirements, preferences, and budget.
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements, photographs, and any other necessary information.
- **Design Concept Development**:

- Create detailed design concepts, including sketches, mood boards, and renderings.
- Develop space planning solutions to optimize the functionality and flow of the space.
- Select and specify furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes that align with the design concept.
- **Project Management**:

- Prepare detailed design plans, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D models.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals to ensure design intent is realized.
- Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- **Material and Product Selection**:

- Research and source materials, products, and furnishings that meet the design requirements.
- Create sample boards and present options to clients for approval.
- **Implementation and Oversight**:

- Oversee the implementation of design plans, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Conduct site visits during construction or installation phases to monitor progress and address any issues.
- Provide guidance and direction to contractors and tradespeople.
- **Client Presentation**:

- Present design concepts and plans to clients for feedback and approval.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address any questions or concerns.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, invoices, and design plans.
- Prepare and present project progress reports to clients and senior management.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- Proven experience as an Interior Designer, preferably with a portfolio showcasing residential and/or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- **Skills**:

- Strong visual and spatial awareness.
- Excellent creative and artistic skills.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in sustainable design practices.
- Certification from a recognized interior design association (e.g., NCIDQ, ASID).
- Knowledge of 3D rendering software.

**Work Environment**:
This position is based in an office setting with regular site visits required. The role may involve occasional evening and weekend work to meet project deadlines and client needs.

**Job Type**: Freelance
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: ₹11,709.42 - ₹35,698.86 per month
