Barista/all Rounder

We are seeking a skilled and passionate barista with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our vibrant team at The Baker & Co, known for its exquisite French patisserie offerings. As a key member of our cafe family, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Coffee Crafting**: Expertly prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, ensuring consistency and adherence to high-quality standards.
- **Patisserie Knowledge**: Possess a strong understanding of French patisserie products, including their ingredients and preparation methods, to assist customers with recommendations.
- **Customer Service**: Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Take responsibility for the cleanliness and maintenance of coffee equipment, including espresso machines and grinders.
- **Quality Control**: Uphold the cafe's commitment to quality, ensuring that each beverage and patisserie item meets our standards of excellence.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a smooth and efficient cafe operation, including supporting colleagues during busy periods.
- **Adaptability**: Demonstrate flexibility in handling diverse tasks, from taking orders at the counter to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a barista, preferably in a cafe or patisserie setting.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espresso preparation, and latte art.
- Familiarity with French patisserie products and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
