**Job description**

Yantra Packs is a pioneering returnable packaging pooling solution designed to optimize industrial supply chains. Our core mission is to provide sustainable alternatives to traditional expendable packaging, such as corrugated boxes, by offering reusable packaging rentals to industries. By pooling reusable packaging resources across multiple customers, we aim to enhance efficiency and sustainability in industrial packaging.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

2. Manage financial transactions and maintain accurate records of all financial activities.

3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

4. Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making processes.

5. Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risks.

6. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.

7. Coordinate with external auditors and assist in the preparation of audit schedules and responses to audit queries.

8. Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.

9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial insights and recommendations.

10. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting financial accounting and reporting.

**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. Proven experience working as an Accountant, preferably in a manufacturing, logistics, or related industry.

3. Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with Zoho Books is a plus.

4. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data accurately.

5. Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.

6. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders.

7. Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

8. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.

9. High ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment to upholding confidentiality and professionalism in all financial matters.

10. Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic startup environment.

Pay: ₹50,000 - ₹65,000 per month

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
