Introduction:
This role requires an experienced Automation Tester to:

- Deliver robust test harnesses to meet complex testing needs of various project.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining automated GUI and SOA test cases.
- Drive test scripts preparation & execution activities with minimum supervision.
- Provision of consolidated feedback to stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Mitigate / escalate issues to Lead Automation Tester or Test Manager as appropriate
- Support Systems & Integration Testing / Non Functional Testing / User Acceptance Testing / Operational Acceptance Testing phases for various projects being executed.
- Assist in preparing Test phase closure reports
- Assist in preparation of required metrics and reports for the project

What will you be doing?
- Creation and maintenance of test automation harness.
- Creation and maintenance of automated as well as manual test packs
- Prepare test automation plan/Estimates
- Coordinate / Prepare Test Data for execution.
- Support SIT/UAT.
- Prepare Run Plan and Execution Plans.
- Assist Test Manager/Test Automation lead in managing day-to-day testing activities, such as test automation monitoring and status reporting for various teams.
- Execute automated tests, track and monitor defects to closure and produce test metrics and test reports.
- Assist in performing test estimation, test strategy

What we’re looking for:
Technical knowledge
- Overall experience in Software Testing work stream (functional and automation).
- Proficient in functional testing and defect management.
- Good Knowledge & prior experience on test automation Tools-Citrus, Selenium, Cucumber using Java.
- Good knowledge & prior experience of API automation.
- Experience of using test management tools (e.g. JIRA, Agile Central) to manage testing activity and to provide testing metrics
- Strong SQL knowledge.
- Exposure to configuration and change management.
- Knowledge of testing processes.
- Should have excellent understanding of Junit, Citrus and TDD
- Good understanding of the overall software development process and software delivery lifecycle (Agile).

Functional Knowledge
- Experience of analysing project documentation to extract requirements, system functions and other features to be tested

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Should have good understanding of Trade Finance domain
- Awareness of Junit, Service Virtualization
- Prior experience of working on testing of Enterprise Integration Applications
- Hands on experience on No-SQL databases, preferably MongoDB
- Experience of working on a SaaS platform
- Experience on Non Functional Testing
