We are currently seeking a Database Administration Advisor to join our team in Bengaluru, Karn\u0101taka (IN-KA), India (IN).

**PostgreSQL DBA**:

- 6+ years supporting Postgres databases in a high volume customer facing environment
- Strong experience in optimizing and performance tuning of Postgres including drill-down analysis
- Hands-on experience in configuring and supporting replication
- Extraordinary experience administering Pgres databases
- DBA should have experience in tool like Jira,Datadog/New relic/Grafana,BARMAN,PG_BASEBAKUP, PgAdmin, PgBouncer.
- Proficiency with SQL, Shell
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple business and technical teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, tight deadline delivery timeline
- To install new versions of PostgreSQL Database and its tool and any other tools that access the Database(s).
- To implement and enforce Security for PostgreSQL Databases and maintain database(s) constraints to ensure integrity of the database(s)
- Aptitude to independently learn new technologies
- Must have experience in AWS (RDS/EC2)
- Out of the box thinking. Must be able to think multiple solutions to same problem.

**Description**:

- You will be responsible for administration of production, QA and development database infrastructure
- Database Infrastructure Setup, Configuration, upgrading/Patching, Monitoring and troubleshooting
- Build the automation scripts for database infrastructure
- Implementing standard methodologies for DR and Backups
- Measurement and optimization of system performance Capacity planning and forecast management
- Participate in new technology/feature evaluation
- Be able to do performance benchmarking between either two versions of same database technology or two different database technologies
- Manage the databases deployed in Cloud Infrastructure including AWS
- Position may require on-call support rotation with other team members.
- EDB/Postgresql Certification is nice to have
