We are currently seeking a Database Administration Advisor
- Snowflake DBA to join our team in Bangalore, Karn\u0101taka (IN-KA), India (IN).

DBA Responsibilities

User/SDLC Work
- Maintain Roles/Grants as necessary
- Create non-scim users (not anticipated)
- Implement DDL changes (if SDLC automation is not implemented - should be CICD pipelines)
- Clone Databases for Retention/SDLC process (mostly automated)
- Recover Data via Time Travel/Coordinate with Snowflake Support for Fail Safe
- Data Replication/Failover for DR (create replicas, replication tasks, and/or maintain Failover URLs)

Maintain/Monitor
- Monitor Performance / Bad Queries (runaways)
- Monitor overall usage/credit consumption
- Monitor user logins/sql logs as needed or required
- Monitor grants to roles and grants to users as required
- Add cluster keys to tables as needed/monitor usage and consumption
- Add search optimization to tables as needed
- Monitor Region-to-Region Copy Failures as needed
