- Quality Incharge (Garments)**
**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Incharge to join our garments manufacturing team. The Quality Incharge will be responsible for ensuring that all garments produced meet the highest quality standards and specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team of quality inspectors.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Quality Assurance**: Oversee all aspects of quality assurance within the garments manufacturing process, from raw material inspection to final product inspection. Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to ensure consistency and compliance with quality standards.
- **Inspection and Testing**: Conduct regular inspections and quality tests on garments at various stages of production, including fabric inspection, cutting, stitching, and finishing. Identify and address any quality issues or defects promptly to prevent production delays or customer dissatisfaction.
- **Supplier Quality Management**: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and components used in garment production. Establish and maintain quality standards for suppliers, conduct supplier audits, and address any quality concerns or non-conformances.
- **Training and Development**: Train and mentor quality control inspectors and production staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices. Provide feedback and coaching to improve performance and ensure adherence to quality requirements.
- **Root Cause Analysis**: Investigate root causes of quality issues or defects and implement corrective and preventive actions to address underlying problems. Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality-related issues and improve processes.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken. Prepare regular reports on quality performance, including defect rates, rejection rates, and quality improvement initiatives. Present findings and recommendations to management as needed.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance overall quality and efficiency in garment production. Identify opportunities for process optimization, quality enhancements, and cost savings.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements related to garment quality and safety. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in quality management.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Quality Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the garments manufacturing industry, with a strong background in quality assurance and control.
- In-depth knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in quality management tools and techniques, such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Total Quality Management.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
- [Optional] Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager) may be preferred.
