**Key accountabilities**:

- Lead the performance of "RFQ to Purchase Request" steps for the Mechanical Category in line with project budgetary impact.
- Collaborate closely with Project Execution, Quality, and Logistics teams to enhance Quality, Delivery, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
- Implement Supplier footprint and Multi Sourcing strategies as guided by Commodity Managers.
- Ensure robust Supplier Relationship Management processes within the category to achieve optimal supplier performance.
- Engage with key stakeholders to drive Cost, Technology, and Value improvements at suppliers.
- Conduct monthly reviews with category suppliers to monitor their adherence to Quality, Delivery, TCO, and Innovation performance metrics.
- Execute strong negotiations for RFQs to achieve the best final TCO before finalization.
- Establish commodity agreements and annual price agreements in line with current commodity trends.
- Track cost avoidances and reduce depreciation for the supplier category.

**Required profile**:

- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in the Mechanical, EPC, or Project Management industry.
- Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Engineering or Business.
- Expertise in handling various vessels including Reactors, Bleachers, Crystallizers, Mutarators, Deodorizers, Mobulizers, Extractors, Desolventize Toasters, Vapor Scrubbers, Chain Conveyors, Win Max filters, and Rotary Valves.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding mechanical drawings.
- Willingness to travel throughout India, with approximately 10-12% of the time dedicated to supplier meetings.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Project Management tools (D365), ERP systems, and Data analytics.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; demonstrates a sound work ethic.
- Critical thinker with proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities, committed to continuous improvement.
