Our team is growing, and we are looking for a talented 2D Artist to help us bring our next generation of titles to life.

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Create high-quality 2D game assets, including characters, environments, props, and UI/UX elements, all optimised for mobile (Android/iOS) displays.
- Develop concept art, storyboards, and mood boards to help define the artistic direction.
- Collaborate with the art director and game designers to establish and maintain a consistent visual style.
- Prepare and optimize 2D assets (e.g., atlases, 9-slicing) for implementation in the **Unity** game engine.
- Work with animators to ensure assets are properly prepared for 2D animation (e.g., in Spine or Unity's 2D animation system).
- Iterate on assets based on feedback from the team and playtesting.
- Ensure all art assets meet performance and memory budgets for mobile devices.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**
- **A strong portfolio is required.** Your portfolio must demonstrate your skills in 2D game art (characters, environments, UI, etc.).
- Proficiency in 2D art software such as **Adobe Photoshop** and **Adobe Illustrator**.
- A solid understanding of asset optimisation and performance constraints for **mobile platforms (Android/iOS)**.
- A solid understanding of color theory, lighting, composition, anatomy, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to adapt to different art styles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A genuine passion for video games, especially mobile games

**Preferred Qualifications (Appreciated Skills)**
- **3D skills (modeling, texturing) using tools like Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max are a major plus and will be highly appreciated.**:

- Experience with 2D animation tools like Spine.
- Experience with the Unity game engine (importing assets, working with prefabs, UI canvas).
- Experience in creating art for educational games or content.
