**Position: Senior Analyst - Tax - CIT**

**Reports to**: Team Lead

**Role Overview**

Enable the Tax Client Service Teams (CST) on research, compliance, assessments and return filing through a differentiated delivery model.

**Key Accountabilities**

**Market / Client**

**Corporate Tax Provisioning and TAR Review**
- Review draft tax provisioning statement for the specified period received from the CST team and documenting comments in Tax Clearance Memo as per the prescribed format

**Research for Advisory**
- Review relevant sections, notifications & circulars, commentaries, internal DPP position, external sources and judicial precedents

**Compliance - Returns**
- On time preparation of draft tax computation, BOP and ITR based on the inputs received from the CST and sharing the (.xml) file for upload at their end

**Compliance - Assessments**
- Drafting basic responses to notices received under section 143(2) & 142(1) of the Income-tax Act

**Compliance - Refunds & CPC**
- Excellent assistance in filing online rectification request with reference to return filed and intimation received

**Compliance - Litigations**
- Prompt Support in preparing cover letter, Form 35, grounds of appeal and statement of facts
- Meticulous Drafting letter for keeping penalty proceedings in abeyance pending disposal of appeal

**Compliance - WHT Orders**
- Online data filling in Form 13 in accordance with section 197 of the Act

**Quality**
- Delivering high quality CST work in light of changing regulatory environment
- Ensure compliance with risk management requirements
- Adherence to operational excellence norms on all work deliverables
- Innovation: Suggest new ideas to make existing work efficient
- Continuous learning and sharpening of technical and other skills / knowledge acquired through training and on the job work experience
