**Position reports to**:
Team Lead
Enable the Tax Client Service Teams (CST) on research, compliance, assessments and return filing through a differentiated delivery model.
**Position purpose**:
Sr. Analyst - Tax - CIT

Corporate Tax Provisioning and TAR Review
- Review draft tax provisioning statement for the specified period received from the CST team and documenting comments in Tax Clearance Memo as per the prescribed format
Research for Advisory
- Review relevant sections, notifications & circulars, commentaries, internal DPP position, external sources and judicial precedents
Compliance - Returns
- On time preparation of draft tax computation, BOP and ITR based on the inputs received from the CST and sharing the (.xml) file for upload at their end
Compliance - Assessments
- Drafting basic responses to notices received under section 143(2) & 142(1) of the Income-tax Act**_Market / Client

Compliance - Refunds & CPC
- Excellent assistance in filing online rectification request with reference to return filed and intimation received
Compliance - Litigations
- Prompt Support in preparing cover letter, Form 35, grounds of appeal and statement of facts
- Meticulous Drafting letter for keeping penalty proceedings in abeyance pending disposal of appeal
Compliance - WHT Orders
- Online data filling in Form 13 in accordance with section 197 of the Act
- Rework % to be within threshold as communicated by PMTAT as per SLA agreed with CST from time to time**_Quality

- Delivering high quality CST work in light of changing regulatory environment
- Ensure compliance with risk management requirements
- Adherence to operational excellence norms on all work deliverables

- Suggest new ideas to make existing work efficentContinuous learning and sharpening of technical and other skills / knowledge acquired through training and on the job work experience.- Number of successful tickets closed with mínimal rework
- Feedback from CST on Quality and timeliness to be within threshold as communicated by PM
- Ability to handle multiple tasks or tickets and prioritization

- Ensure compliance with all office operating procedures-timesheets, dress code, leaves, office time, goal setting, interim and year end reviews.

- Completion of all mandatory trainings

- Being up to date with latest changes in taxation leading to reduced time spent on research by self and TLs on tickets.
