**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented **Compliance Officer - Fire Safety** to oversee and ensure all sanitation infrastructure projects comply with applicable fire safety regulations and standards. The officer will be responsible for implementing fire safety protocols, conducting inspections, and coordinating with internal teams and government bodies to uphold safety norms across NEO San installations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and verify installation and maintenance of fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, and evacuation signage.
- Develop, document, and update fire safety protocols and SOPs for staff and maintenance teams.
- Organize fire safety drills and training sessions for field and maintenance staff.
- Ensure **compliance with fire safety standards** in design, installation, and operation of sanitary napkin incinerators.
- Conduct **fire risk assessments** and suggest structural or operational safety improvements.
- Supervise installation and regular maintenance of **fire suppression systems** (extinguishers, sand buckets, detectors) near incinerators.
- Prepare and maintain **site-specific fire safety plans** for incinerator units.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure **safety-compliant setup** and waste-handling.
- Monitor **safe disposal of ash/residue**, ensuring no risk of fire hazard or contamination.
- Conduct regular **mock fire drills**, training sessions for school staff or operators at public facilities where units are installed.
- Coordinate with **local fire departments**, **Pollution Control Board (PCB)**, and **municipal authorities** for required NOCs, clearances, and inspections.
- Maintain up-to-date **records of safety audits, maintenance logs, and inspection reports**.
- Report any non-compliance or hazards immediately and ensure timely rectification.
- Liaise with fire department officials, local authorities, and other regulatory bodies during inspections and audits.
- Coordinate with civil, plumbing, and electrical teams to ensure integration of fire safety considerations in project execution.
- Report any non-compliance or safety hazards immediately and suggest corrective measures.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Graduate in Fire & Safety Engineering / Diploma in Industrial Safety / Relevant technical qualification.Minimum **0-2 years of experience** in fire safety compliance, preferably in infrastructure, sanitation, or public utility projectsSkilled in fire safety documentation, training, and incident reporting.
Familiar with **waste management protocols and incineration handling.**

**Preferred Attributes**:

- Experience working with NGOs or sanitation-focused projects.
- Certification in fire safety or recognized institute
- Ability to travel to multiple sites within the region as needed.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
