**_ Job Responsibilities: _**
- Designs test strategies, updates, develops test plan for systems software, including operating systems, compliers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.
- Develops, Analyzes and reviews scripts for test cases on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution. Reviews Functionality guides and provides upfront gaps in implementation
- Leads a project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced test partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem.
- Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development test regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
- Represents the software systems engineering team for all phases of larger and more-complex projects.
- Provides guidance and mentoring to less
- experienced staff members.

**_ Education and Experience Required: _**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Typically 7-12 years experience.

**_ Knowledge and Skills: _**
- Expertise in multiple test tools and scripting languages.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Test software systems running on multiple platform types; run test cases for these in the area of functionality, negative testing, Solution testing, interoperability testing, scale and performance testing
- Software systems testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging of CFDs and development scripts.
- Very good Hands testing knowledge of L3 features like OSPF, VRRP, ARP, EVPN, VxLAN, MPLS, BPG, PIM and IGMP
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels..
