**Role Summary**

Recognized as a SME within the company the Azure Cloud Systems Administrator role requires in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline and broad knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function. Solves unique problems that have a broad impact on the business. Regarded as the technical expert in their job discipline within the organization. Anticipates business and regulatory issues; recommends product, process or service improvements.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Provide implementation, configuration, and maintenance for the organization’s Azure Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of Azure Cloud services and infrastructure.
- Administer Azure Cloud PaaS, IaaS and SaaS services/systems and manage Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Maintain all Cloud management functions to include all facets of system and storage administration tasks, Cloud Management, documentation, backups, cost management and integration of on-premises systems into the Cloud.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve Azure server, certificate, and SQL database issues
- Maintain patch levels in accordance with organizational policy to ensure security services in the Azure Cloud environment is in compliance

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or high school diploma/GED with at least 5 years of professional experience in IT.

**Desired Characteristics**
- 8+ years of progressive Systems Administration experience with at least 2 years working with AWS or Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies.
- Certification in at least two relevant technologies (MCSA Server, VMware VCP, Microsoft Certified Azure Cloud Administrator, Microsoft Certified Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer).
- Extensive background and experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, Hyper-V, Virtualization.
- Working knowledge and understanding of SQL Database and server interoperability concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical thinking skills.
- Experience in oil and gas service companies a plus

**Additional Information**
- Must be legally authorized to work in the India on a full-time basis, now or in the future, without employer sponsorship for employment visa status
- No relocation assistance
