## **Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Curriculum Delivery**:

- Teach Computer Science to students of classes 11 and 12 as per the CBSE syllabus.
- Develop lesson plans and schemes of work that align with the CBSE curriculum.
- Use various teaching methods to make complex concepts in computer science understandable, engaging, and interesting.

2. **Classroom Management**:

- Maintain a disciplined, well-structured, and conducive classroom environment.
- Ensure active participation and engagement of students in the learning process.

3. **Academic Support**:

- Provide individual support to students to help them grasp concepts, clear doubts, and excel in their studies.
- Prepare students for CBSE board exams, guiding them through key topics, practical, and problem-solving techniques.

4. **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Design and conduct periodic tests, assignments, and practical assessments.
- Evaluate students' performance and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain records of students' progress and performance.

5. **Lab and Practical Sessions**:

- Organize and supervise computer lab sessions to provide practical exposure to programming, data structures, networking, database management, etc.

6. **Technological Integration**:

- Incorporate the use of educational technology, such as programming tools, online platforms, and learning management systems, to enhance learning experiences.
- Stay updated with advancements in technology and computer science education to deliver relevant content.

7. **Syllabus Planning and Coordination**:

- Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure cohesive planning and smooth execution of the syllabus.
- Assist in preparing question papers and conducting internal exams as per CBSE guidelines.

8. **Extracurricular Involvement**:

- Participate in school activities such as competitions, coding clubs, workshops, and seminars related to computer science.
- Encourage students to take part in inter-school IT competitions and other events.

9. **Professional Development**:

- Attend professional development programs, workshops, and training sessions to stay updated with changes in the CBSE curriculum and pedagogical advancements.
## **Qualifications and Requirements**:

- **Educational Qualification**:

- Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory as per CBSE norms.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (preferred).
- Experience in teaching as per the CBSE curriculum is a plus.
- **Skills**:

- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, etc.
- Strong grasp of concepts like data structures, algorithms, database management, networking, and software development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to excel in computer science.
- Strong classroom management skills and adaptability to new teaching methodologies.
- **Certifications**:

- Any additional certifications in computer science or information technology (optional but beneficial).
