**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Development and Implementation**: Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans based on the school's curriculum framework and current technological advancements. Ensure the curriculum is age-appropriate and engaging for students.
- **Programming Instruction**: Teach students programming concepts and languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, Scratch) appropriate for their grade level. Focus on developing problem-solving and computational thinking skills.
- **Digital Literacy and Citizenship**: Educate students on digital literacy, online safety, responsible use of technology, and ethical considerations in the digital world.
- **Hardware and Networking Fundamentals**: Introduce students to basic computer hardware components, networking concepts, and troubleshooting techniques.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**: Regularly assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, tests, projects, and presentations. Provide constructive feedback to students and parents regarding their performance.
- **Classroom Management**: Create and maintain a well-organized and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning. Manage classroom behavior effectively and promote positive social interactions among students.
- **Resource Management**: Manage and maintain computer lab equipment, software, and other resources. Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and that students have access to the necessary tools.
- **Parent Communication**: Build and maintain positive relationships with parents through regular communication, parent-teacher meetings, and workshops. Share updates on classroom activities and student progress.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and other relevant information.
- **Adherence to Policies**: Adhere to the school's policies and procedures regarding curriculum, assessment, student discipline, and parent communication.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Graduation (essential) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- **Professional Training**: B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) (essential).

**Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Computer Teacher in a recognized school.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of computer science concepts and programming languages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students.
- Ability to design and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Effective classroom management skills.
- Ability to assess and document student progress.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current technology trends and advancements.

**Salary**:
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and will be competitive within the Surat market.
