Function: Technology

Purpose of the Job:
The Developer will be part of a cross-functional Scrum team responsible for designing, developing, and supporting diverse features of Airtel Payments Bank agile stream. Payments bank values software engineers who are motivated, creative, passionate and positive. You must be comfortable working closely with others and have solid communication skills. Software engineers who learn quickly and have strong technical skills will thrive at Airtel Payments Bank. You must have considerable experience with object-oriented programming and should be familiar with design patterns, data structures, database and other staples of practical software development

Key Deliverables:

- Analyse, design, implement and managing software programs
- Test and evaluate new programs
- Identify the areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
- Designing and implementing efficient code
- Deploying the source code artefacts
- Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
- Preparing and contributing in solution document artefacts
- CICD, Jenkins
- Code review and PR merging

Skills Required:

- Should have experience of working on Core Java/J2EE & OOPS concept
- Should be well versed with Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, Unit test frameworks
- Should have experience of Hibernate or other ORM frameworks
- Technical design, implementation, deployment, and support.
- Perform development and unit testing, working closely with Business.
- Well versed with build tool Maven and CICD pipelines such as Jenkins
- Caching Techniques(Radis, Aerospike)
- Knowledge ? SQL and No SQL
- Experience using Web and Application servers and API gateways
- Unix and cloud environments
- Agile mindset and familiar with Jira, Confluence

Qualification: Technical background (BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline/experience)
