This department works closely with both our internal and external customers to ensure FLSmidth equipment’s on time delivery and customer satisfaction.- Role-
- Your Responsibilities- The Packing Assistant is responsible for efficiently packing products for shipment, ensuring that all items are securely packaged and labeled correctly.
- Pack products according to company standards and customer specifications.
- Ensure that all items are securely and appropriately packaged to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages accurately with the correct shipping information and product details.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to the Packing Supervisor or Production Manager.
- Help with receiving and organizing packing materials as needed.
- Work closely with other packing assistants and production staff to meet daily packing and shipping targets.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to packaging and shipping.
- Participate in regular safety training sessions and drills.
- What you bring- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a packing, warehouse, or production role is preferred.
- Basic understanding of packing and shipping procedures.
- Use of packing equipment and tools.
- Ability to operate packaging machinery and tools.Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements related to warehouse operations.
- Exposure to varying temperatures depending on the work area.
