Job Title: Social Media Executive
Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and conversions across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and others.
Content Creation & Management: Plan, create, and curate engaging, relevant, and high-quality content that resonates with target audiences. Work closely with the content and design teams to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines.
Community Engagement: Actively manage and engage with the brand’s online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries, while fostering positive relationships with followers.
Social Media Campaigns: Develop and implement targeted social media campaigns to promote new products, services, or special events, including paid ads, organic posts, and influencer collaborations.
Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor, track, and analyze social media performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or native platform insights. Provide regular reports on KPIs such as engagement rate, reach, impressions, clicks, and conversions.
Audience Insights: Analyze social media trends, user behavior, and audience insights to optimize content and social strategies. Use data-driven decisions to continuously improve campaigns and social media performance.
Brand Consistency: Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and messaging across all social media platforms, working closely with other marketing and creative teams.
Social Media Trends & Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices. Experiment with new features and strategies to keep the brand innovative and competitive.
Paid Social Ads Management: Oversee and manage paid social media campaigns, including budget management, audience targeting, ad copywriting, and creative optimization to drive measurable results.
Influencer & Partnership Management: Identify potential influencers or brand ambassadors, manage relationships, and collaborate on campaigns to increase brand exposure and credibility.
Crisis Management & Reputation Monitoring: Handle and mitigate any negative comments or PR issues on social media, ensuring brand reputation is protected at all times.
Key Skills & Experience:
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing social media accounts and executing social media strategies for brands or businesses.
Platform Expertise: Advanced knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, etc.), including understanding of platform algorithms, trends, and best practices.
Content Creation: Proficient in creating diverse content types (posts, stories, videos, blogs, etc.), including writing engaging captions, copy, and basic photo/video editing skills. Familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and others is a plus.
Community Management: Proven ability to manage and engage online communities, foster positive relationships, and handle customer inquiries in a professional manner.
Social Media Analytics: Strong experience using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights, etc.) to track and report on campaign performance and ROI. Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable insights.
Paid Social Ads: Experience managing paid social media campaigns across platforms, including budgeting, targeting, optimization, and reporting.
Creativity & Innovation: Ability to generate fresh ideas for content and campaigns that align with brand goals while engaging audiences.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages that align with the brand voice.
Time Management & Organization: Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple social media campaigns simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work well with cross-functional teams (creative, content, design, etc.) to ensure social media strategies are aligned with overall marketing goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Buffer.
Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and how they integrate with social media strategies.
Experience with influencer marketing, affiliate partnerships, or collaborations.
Basic photography or videography skills for social media content creation.
