- Adhering to infection control policies: Ensuring that universal precautions are followed and that infection control policies are complied with
- Maintaining records: Recording relevant data in logbooks
- Maintaining confidentiality: Treating all communication confidentially
- Staying updated: Keeping up to date with developments in the field
- Providing a safe environment: Ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff
