We are having immediate opening for Desktop Support Executive Position for mumbai Location.
**Job Details**: Responsible for monitoring, operating, managing, troubleshooting and restoring to service any terminal service client, personal computers (PC) or notebooks that has authorized access to the network
**Duties and Responsibilities:

- Works with Help Desk and Network Operations staff as appropriate to determine and resolve problems received from clients.
- Interact with numerous computer platforms in a multi-layered client server environment.
- Trains and orients staff on use of hardware and software.
- Recommends and / or performs upgrades on systems to ensure longevity.
- Works with procurement staff to purchase hardware and software.
- Assesses functional needs to determine specifications for purchases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents (Hardware and Software) related to desktop and associated peripherals
- Troubleshoot Network connectivity (LAN) issues
- Installation of desktop and hardware like CD-ROM, soundcards, etc
- Operating Systems (OS) installation / re-installation, upgrades and patches for desktops
- Software installations such as MS-Office, Acrobat Reader, mail client etc.
- Installation of anti-virus on desktops and remove Virus
- Configuration of Print devices (network and local) on desktops
- Desktop Configuration - Network, mail client, internet etc.
- Co-ordinate with vendors for support
- Configuration of devices attached to laptops ( PDA)
- Should provide Remote support on Phone or through tool
**Skill Set:

**1. Good Communication**
**2. Graduation is mandatory. Cut Off Throughout is 50%**
**3. Minimum of 2 yrs of experience as a Desktop Support.**
**Note:
- ** Salary: Upto 20000 INR CTC (Depending on your interview and skill set) Cabs will be provided
