Patient Care Assistant

Roles and Responsibilities:
Clinical
- Maintain professional standards of competence in line with current best nursing practices.
- Ensure that all care needs for each patient are met in accordance with the care plan.
- Ensure that all patient care is delivered in accordance with company documented clinical standards.
- Accurately record all relevant information relating to a patient’s care or treatment at the time the care was delivered.
- Communicate with the referring clinician in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain close liaison with other healthcare professionals as appropriate.
Specialty Care
- Basic Assessments/Vital Monitoring:
- Perform temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and SpO2 monitoring.
- Hygienic Care:
- Assist with bathroom/bed bath, mouth care, and bed making.
- Elimination Needs:
- Change diapers, offer bedpan/urinal, empty urine bags, and care for urobag.
- Nutrition:
- Assist in oral feeding.
- Ambulation and Exercises:
- Assist with position changes, mobilization, range of motion exercises, and fall prevention.
- Psychological Support & Diversional Therapy.
- Nursing Procedures:
- Medication Administration:
- Administer topical (ointment) medications.
Qualification:
- Education: GDA
- Experience: 0-5 yrs of Patient Assistant Care Activities

- Rotational shift
