Primary Function:
SCM executive will have the role of onboarding vendors; dealing with RFQ/ RFP’s, negotiating with vendors; releasing vendor purchase orders; monitoring delivery; receiving goods & services; ensuring approvals for delivery, invoice processing; handling vendor queries on payments, maintaining data.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Primary objective is to ensure vendor management & purchase order management, liaison between the suppliers, project engineers, internal accounting team and services team.
- Schedule meetings between Sales or projects or internal stake holders with suppliers wherever required to quote/ resolve queries
- Onboard vendors as required ensuring required documentations including signed NDA & code of conduct.
- Ensure suppliers used in the project are within the commodity strategies
- Send RFQ packages to suppliers and negotiate cost
- Based on internal project commencement, release vendor purchase orders.
- Track changes in deliverables and make appropriate project changes
- Ensure best mode of transportation is being used & manage freight costs
- Track schedules and send periodical report on delivery dates to all internal stake holders.
- Analyze and communicate any supply risk and associated costs to the projects team.
- Ensure project stays within budget - maintaining cost analysis
- Vendor Invoice validation, query handling, resolution
- Track and ensure meet the project schedule
- Recommend to the Channel direction on transportation taking into account cost, speed and delivery risks

Education & experience
? Bachelors Degree preferably commerce/ BBA
? Minimum 5 years experience with sound knowledge of dealing with purchase of cloud subscriptions, products, services for IT industry.
