Job Overview

As a Backend Operations Specialist in the stock market, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the backend processes that facilitate the smooth functioning of various financial activities. This role involves meticulous attention to detail, risk management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient trade settlement, regulatory compliance, and overall operational excellence. The Backend Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of stock market operations.

Key Responsibilities **Confirming and settling trades executed on the stock exchange, ensuring accurate and timely transfer of securities and funds.**

Facilitating the clearing and settlement of trades, verifying transactions, calculating obligations, and overseeing the seamless transfer of securities and funds. **Implementing risk management measures to monitor and mitigate potential risks associated with market fluctuations, counterparty defaults, and operational challenges.**

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions, including trade details, client portfolios, and regulatory compliance documentation **Managing customer accounts, handling updates to personal information, account balances, and transaction history. ** Ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements and reporting obligations imposed by financial authorities.

**Overseeing and maintaining the technology infrastructure, including trading platforms, databases, and communication systems, to support efficient operations. ** Handling and managing financial data, conducting data analysis, and generating reports to support decision-making processes.

**Managing corporate actions such as dividends, stock splits, mergers, and acquisitions to ensure accurate adjustments to client portfolios. ** Reconciling discrepancies between internal records and external entities, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions **Collaborating with customer support teams to address complex inquiries and provide backend support related to transactions. ** Implementing security measures to ensure the integrity of financial transactions and prevent fraudulent activities within stock market operations.

**Monitoring the performance of backend systems, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing enhancements to optimize operational efficiency. Qualifications ** Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or a related field.

**Salary**: ₹324,127.61 - ₹1,594,153.95 per year
