Cssd Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Performing autoclave, ETO, Plasma for bandages, scopes, devices
- Loading of equipment wrapped in special cloth designed for autoclave process
- Placing all instruments or equipment in machine for ETO process
- Evaluating equipment /facilities and keeping the equipment free of

contamination
- Assisting in checking of materials received from other units for sterilization and returning back in an appropriate manner
- Recalling of procedures in case of lack of proper sterilization or defects or failed process
- For emergency, using the Plasma machine for sterilization in short cycle
- Assuring the sterile processes are done by attendants before performing the procedures
- Maintaining data related to CSSD like daily procedures register with timings Maintaining self hygiene, grooming, safety measures, operating of machines and usage of solutions for sterilization
- Ensuring the sterility of equipment’s at all times
- Ensuring infection control practices at all times
- In case of machinery breakdown or pipeline breakage, informing the biomedical department or plumber immediately
- Ensuring cleanliness at all times in the CSSD area Ensuring weekly fumigation of CSSD department
- Proper maintenance of sterilization area.

**Salary**: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per year
