**Job Summary**:
The Training and Placement Officer (TPO) will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing training and placement-related activities for students of all departments. The TPO will act as the primary liaison between the institution and the corporate world to ensure maximum placement of eligible students, develop industry relations, and enhance students’ employability through various skill-building initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Placement Activities**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with HR professionals, recruiters, and industry partners.
- Invite companies for campus placements and coordinate pre-placement talks, interviews, and selection processes.
- Maintain a comprehensive placement calendar and ensure seamless execution of placement drives.
- Maintain up-to-date records of student placements and employer details.
- Ensure the best possible placement opportunities for final-year students from all branches.

**2. Training & Development**:

- Identify skill gaps in students and design training programs (technical skills, soft skills, aptitude, communication, group discussions, personal interviews, etc.).
- Collaborate with external trainers/agencies to conduct relevant training workshops.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.

**3. Industry Connect**:

- Organize industrial visits, guest lectures, seminars, and workshops with industry experts.
- Facilitate Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with industries and corporates for long-term partnerships.
- Participate in industry forums and events to promote the college’s brand and students.

**4. Career Guidance & Internships**:

- Guide students on career options, higher studies, and entrepreneurship.
- Coordinate internship opportunities for pre-final year students.
- Provide mentorship for resume building, LinkedIn profiles, and personal branding.

**5. Reporting and Documentation**:

- Prepare regular reports on placement statistics, training effectiveness, and corporate feedback.
- Maintain student databases, training records, and placement data for audit and ranking purposes.

**Eligibility & Qualifications**:

- **Education**_**: Graduation**
- _**Experience**_**: Minimum 3-5 years in a similar role in an engineering institution or industry.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong industry network and persuasive abilities.
- Good organizational and leadership qualities.
- Familiarity with placement management software and digital tools.
- **Preferred Qualities**:_
- Dynamic personality with a passion for student development.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
- Strong understanding of current industry trends and hiring practices.
- Experience with NAAC, NBA, and NIRF documentation related to placements.
