**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assign accurate codes for medical diagnoses, procedures, and services based on patient records.
- Review and analyze medical charts, documents, and coding manuals to ensure proper coding.
- Maintain knowledge of updates and changes in medical coding regulations, including ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, billers, and other team members to resolve coding issues and discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state healthcare regulations.
- Prepare and submit coded data for insurance reimbursement and claim processing.
- Monitor and review claims for accuracy and completeness before submission.
- Stay current with industry trends, coding standards, and guidelines.

**Qualifications**:

- CPC Certification (Certified Professional Coder) is required.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
- Familiarity with coding software and healthcare management systems is preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
