**Location**:
India - Bangalore/ Mangalore

**Requirements**:

- 7 to 9 years of DBA Experience
- Excellent knowledge of relational database design concepts, coding of functions, triggers and procedures, debugging and tuning SQL
- Knowledge and experience working with SQL Server databases, including advanced SQL and T-SQL
- Experience in a multi-SQL server environment
- Experience in developing and managing SQL maintenance plans
- Experience in tuning SQL server using log files, traces, or 3rd party tools
- Demonstrated experience in database normalization
- Experience working with multiple logical entity modeling techniques
- Ability to translate design specifications into data models
- Analyze and determine data structure needs and elements, data relationships and attributes, proposed manipulation, data flow and storage requirements and data output and reporting capabilities.
- Develop SQL stored procedures, views and optimize SQL processes in SQL Server and Azure SQL
- Expertise in database administration and maintenance, monitoring performance of databases and ensure it is operating at optimum level
- Experience working with SQL Server installation/upgrading procedures
- Knowledge of setting clustering, tuning, troubleshooting of Performance tuning, SQL Backup & Recovery
- Develop data retrieval queries and optimize data queries within programs for performance and maintainability
- Constructing and optimizing complex SQL queries to support data querying requirements
- Ability to identify problems with database systems, and effectively communicate solutions to team
- Monitor database activity and usage and allocate necessary resources for the databases to function optimally
- Well-versed with creation of SSIS packages for data migration
- Exposure to working with SQL databases in Azure environment and knowledge of managing Azure resources to ensure optimal performance in Azure environment
- Familiar with creation of in-memory tables and Stored Procedures and natively compiled SQL queries
- Ability to work in a dynamic multi-team environment as well as independently

**Job Details**:

- 7 to 9 years of experience in production environments with both SQL on-premise installations and SQL Azure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to learn new database concepts quickly
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or MCA or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and documentation skills
