Restaurant Captain

**Responsibilities**:
- Greet guests upon arrival and ensure they are seated on time, taking into account their preferences and any special requests.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the waitstaff to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.
- Assist with training new staff members and provide ongoing guidance and support to existing team members.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and specials, to answer guest questions and make recommendations.
- Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders, maintaining quality and presentation standards.
- Uphold the restaurant's policies and procedures, including those related to food safety, alcohol service, and guest relations.
- Foster a positive work environment by leading by example, promoting teamwork, and providing feedback and recognition to staff members.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a fine-dining restaurant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff members at all levels.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques, including wine service and bar operations.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, handling challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the needs of the business.

Pay: ₹13,517.91 - ₹26,942.78 per month
