
License and Compliance Officer

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Preparation of License Returns**:
- Prepare and submit factory license returns, pollution control license returns, fire safety licenses, explosive licenses, and other regulatory compliance reports to relevant authorities.
- Ensure all forms, returns, and supporting documents are completed correctly and filed within prescribed deadlines.
- Monitor and track submission deadlines for all licenses and permits to ensure compliance with regulatory timelines.
- **Regulatory Compliance and Reporting**:
- Stay updated on regulations and licensing requirements related to factory operations, pollution control, fire safety, explosives, and other compliance areas.
- Prepare and submit regular compliance reports as per government requirements, including pollution control and environmental impact assessments.
- Ensure all returns and submissions are in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- **Document Management and Filing**:
- Organize and store hard and electronic copies of all submitted documents and licenses for future reference and audits.
- Ensure proper documentation and tracking of any amendments, renewals, or changes in licensing terms.
- **Coordination with Regulatory Bodies**:
- Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise during the submission or review of license returns.
- **Renewal Management**:
- Track and manage the renewal schedules for factory licenses, fire safety certifications, pollution control permits, explosive licenses, and other regulatory documents.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely renewal submissions and prevent lapses in licensing.
- **Inspection and Compliance Monitoring**:
- Assist in organizing or preparing for any inspections related to factory operations, pollution control, fire safety, or explosives.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring the company remains up-to-date on all license and permit obligations.
- **Client Support and Advisory**:
- Provide advice and guidance to internal teams or clients regarding the requirements for obtaining, renewing, or maintaining licenses.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- **Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Public Administration, Law, Engineering, or a related field. (Certification in regulatory compliance, environmental regulations, or similar areas is a plus.)
- **Experience**:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, license preparation, or related fields.
- Experience working with regulatory authorities and understanding compliance requirements for factory, pollution, fire, and explosives licenses is highly desirable.
- **Skills**:
- Strong understanding of the licensing process for various industries (factories, pollution control, fire safety, explosives, etc.).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and documents.
- Good communication skills to liaise with government bodies, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
- **Technical Skills**:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with licensing management software or document management systems.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations related to factory operations, pollution, fire safety, and explosives.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
