Today - Top Secret/SCI - Unspecified - 25% - Unspecified - IT - Hardware Fort Belvoir, VA** (ON-SITE/OFFICE)** R-00168984 **Description** Leidos is seeking an **Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician in Fort Belvoir, VA** to support large-scale migration and operations on a large, high-profile DOD contract. The I3TS program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable DTRA’s Information Management & Technology Directorate (ITD) to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities to DTRA’s internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations. **SHIIFT WORK: Days \ Beginning of the Week: Sun, Mon, Tue, and every other Wed from 0600-1800 ET at Ft Belvoir.** This position requires U.S. citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance. **Primary Responsibilities**: - Identify, assess, and respond to real-time network and system issues, ensuring timely resolution or proper escalation. - Perform Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity issues. - Escalate to senior engineering staff if issue is not resolved. - Document and execute incidents, changes, and resolutions accurately in ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy). - Collaborate with federal and contractor teams including network engineers, cybersecurity analysts, and system administrators. - Execute standard operating procedures and provide input to enhance operational documentation. - Support compliance with federal IT security policies and incident response protocols. - Participate in scheduled maintenance windows and emergency outages as needed. - Maintain situational awareness of the health of IT infrastructure and provide regular status reports. **Basic Qualifications**: - BS degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience in a network operations, help desk, or IT support role or Masters degree with 2+ years of prior relevant experience. Specific experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree. - Oral and written communication for change procedures, and management updates - Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Splunk, or similar). - Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and network protocols. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. - Ability to work in a high-availability, fast-paced environment with attention to detail. - Must possess an active Security+ or equivalent - Must possess an active DoD TS/SCI clearance at time of consideration. **Preferred Qualifications**: - Technology: Prior experience with OSI Layers, Security, Storage, VMWare, System/Network Admin - Tools: Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Remedy/ServiceNow, Wiki’s, MS Project - Certifications: Cloud, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft At Leidos, we don’t want someone who "fits the mold"—we want someone who melts it down and builds something better.
