Job brief

We’re currently hiring for a Full time Content Writer for Inbound Tourism to work at our Pune office in RDA Ventures. We are in search of a bold, creative voice to guide brand communications across a diverse mix of marketing channels. The purpose of this position is to optimize marketing activities & manage all written material we create for business purposes. This position will work together with all tourism experts, digital marketing team members in a start-up environment. This role is for someone who can harness the voice, style, and tone of the various offerings our company represents.

**Responsibilities**

**Job Requirements**
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to understand the company’s brand, goals, and target audience.
- Create engaging and informative content for the company’s inbound marketing website from scratch.
- Develop high-quality blog posts, articles, landing page copy, case studies, and other content assets.
- Craft persuasive and SEO-optimized content that attracts, educates, and converts visitors.
- Conduct thorough research to gather insights and data related to travel trends, destinations, and customer preferences.
- Develop buyer personas and tailor content to address the needs, pain points, and interests of different target segments.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and video creators to integrate visual elements into content pieces. Maintain a content marketing calendar that schedules all aspects of the creation and delivery of content throughout the year.
- Update and maintain our websites as needed.
- Stay abreast of current best practices in the industry and review competitor websites to compare their activities with those of our company.
- Advise on branding, positioning, communications, and other marketing issues
- Gather feedback from sales and analysing consumer behaviour to refine our company’s positioning.
- Maintain consistency in tone, style, and branding across all written content.
- Utilize inbound marketing strategies to create content that drives lead generation and engagement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, search engine algorithms, and best practices for content creation.

**Job Requirements**

**Requirements and skills**
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Content Writer with a strong portfolio showcasing inbound marketing content.
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to produce engaging and informative content.
- Proficiency in SEO principles and the ability to incorporate keywords naturally into content.
- Familiarity with inbound marketing methodologies and creating content that aligns with the buyer's journey.
- Strong research skills and the ability to gather insights from reputable sources.
- Detail-oriented and capable of producing error-free and well-structured content.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
- Copywriting samples; a portfolio of published articles is a plus
- Must have 3+ years’ experience in content writing or related field (tourism industry)
- Understanding of marketing business functions such as design, collateral, branding, copywriting, public relations, events, paid and organic media.
- Knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics
- Proficient in MS Office/Working knowledge of IT and marketing software (HubSpot)
- An ability to describe product features in a creative and informative way
- Research skills to produce high-quality content
- An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces
- Languages known English, Hindi & Marathi

**Salary**: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
