**Job Summary**

A BMW Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining BMW vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards. This role involves using advanced diagnostic tools, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship. Technicians must stay updated on the latest BMW technologies and service procedures while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

**Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnostics & Repairs**:

- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on BMW vehicles using specialized tools and software.
- Accurately identify and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
- Conduct engine, transmission, brake, steering, and suspension system repairs.
- Perform advanced coding and programming tasks as needed.

**Routine Maintenance & Servicing**:

- Conduct scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations.
- Inspect and replace worn-out components such as brake pads, filters, and belts.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks meet BMW quality and safety standards.

**Technical Expertise & Training**:

- Stay up to date with BMW’s latest technology, service bulletins, and repair procedures.
- Attend ongoing training and certification programs required by BMW.
- Use BMW ISTA (Integrated Service Technical Application) and other diagnostic tools effectively.

**Customer Service & Communication**:

- Explain technical issues and repair recommendations to service advisors and customers.
- Provide honest and transparent assessments of vehicle conditions.
- Ensure repairs and services are completed within estimated timeframes.

**Workshop Efficiency & Compliance**:

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow BMW dealership protocols, safety procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.

**Qualifications & SkillsEducation & Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; automotive trade school or college certification preferred.
- BMW STEP (Service Technician Education Program) certification is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably with BMW or other luxury brands.
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is an advantage.

**Key Skills**:

- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
- Proficiency with BMW ISTA diagnostic software and other service tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Yearly bonus
