The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across university buildings and infrastructure. This role ensures compliance with all applicable safety regulations and supports a safe and functional environment for students, faculty, and staff.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment in classrooms, labs, residences, and other university facilities.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including power outages, faulty wiring, and malfunctioning devices.
- Install new electrical systems and upgrades as needed for construction or renovation projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical code specifications.
- Maintain logs of work performed and materials used.
- Ensure all work complies with national and local electrical codes, safety regulations, and university policies.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other tradespeople as required.
- Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues.
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance coverage, if required.
- Assist in planning and estimating costs for electrical projects.
- Maintain inventory of electrical supplies and request replacements as needed.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
