Treasury at Deutsche Bank is responsible for the sourcing, management and optimization of liquidity and capital to deliver high value risk management decisions. This is underpinned by a best-in-class integrated and consistent Treasury risk framework, which enables Treasury to clearly identify the Bank’s resource demands, transparently set incentives by allocating resource costs to businesses and manage to evolving regulation. Treasury’s fiduciary mandate, which encompasses the Bank’s funding pools, Asset and liability management (ALM) and fiduciary buffer management, supports businesses in delivering on their strategic targets at global and local level. Further Treasury manages the optimization of all financial resources through all lenses to implement the group’s strategic objective and maximize long term return on average tangible shareholders’ equity (RoTE).

**Role location**: Mumbai office, Nirloan Knowledge Park (Goregaon East). We follow flexible working arrangement, you would be required to work from office three days a week, and two days from home.

**Role Description:

- **

You will manage a substantial CTB (change the bank) book of work in the Treasury Markets and Investment area (TMI), specifically covering the Issuance business, supporting various initiatives spanning trade migrations, build out of new Risk & PnL platforms, booking model enhancements and growth areas.

TMI is responsible for key markets-facing function of Treasury, including a substantial Rates and Foreign Exchange (FX) trading desk, fund transfer pricing, issuance, securitisation, asset liability management and all other trading related activities for Treasury. You will partner with the treasury markets issuance business and work closely with technology, operations and finance teams to implement the programs
- Responsible for lead execution of the Issuance change programmes, spanning a number of high profile initiatives spanning revenue generation, long term funding and regulatory compliance
- Responsible for leading a small team to implement change in both business process and technology build; project manage delivery teams across the organisation
- Tracking deliverables and solving roadblocks; express qualitative and quantitative outcomes and translate to business impact; assist in development of an enhanced funding lifecycle for long term funding requirements
- Perform in high pressure situation with multiple stakeholders and competing demands
- Break down complex problems through self-guided research and lateral thinking
- Background in technology and business change delivery, experience in working with Issuance or Structured Notes products and processes an advantage
- Strong understanding of Front Office risk and portfolio management and funding workflow in Investment Banking or Treasury Markets environments an advantage
- Understanding of the regulatory environment and legislation surrounding issuance and treasury
- Proven experience and understanding leading a complex project day to day across multiple locations/countries or multiple products
- High attention to detail, well organised and capable of handling multiple tasks and stakeholders including senior business and technology representatives
- Strong skills with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, confluence; extensive experience in preparing reports and presenting. Experience in coding and configuration e.g. SQL, Python is beneficial but not a must for the role
- Experience and appetite for analysis, understanding and resolving complex problems, and a results-oriented approach to resolving problems
- Experience in Agile delivery frameworks is an advantage
