Job Title: Technical Architect Job Summary: The Technical Architect is a highly skilled and responsible for designing and implementing IT solutions that meet the needs of the business while ensuring the technical integrity, performance, scalability, and security of the system. This role is crucial and involves working closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, developers, and IT teams, to translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs. Key Responsibilities: 1. Architecture Design: a. Develop and implement the overall architectural strategy, including software, hardware, and network designs. b. Ensure that architecture solutions meet performance, scalability, and security requirements. 2. Solution Implementation: a. Lead the implementation of AWS cloud solutions, including infrastructure setup, networking, security, and automation. b. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop cloud strategies and roadmaps that align with business goals. c. Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and integration. 3. Technical Oversight: a. Establish and enforce architectural best practices, standards, and guidelines. b. Ensure the AWS best practices are applied in business architecture. c. Conduct code and design reviews to ensure the quality and consistency of technical solutions and mitigate identified risks. 4. Technical & Project Leadership: a. Provide technical leadership and guidance to operation teams. b. Oversee the technical aspects of projects, ensuring alignment with architectural standards. c. Review and approve the design and implementation of software and infrastructure changes. 5. Research and Development: a. Stay updated on evolving technologies and industry trends. b. Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance in AWS environments. 6. Documentation and Reporting: a. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the architecture, configurations, and operational procedures. b. Provide technical documentation and training to peer teams. Required Skills and Qualifications: 1. Education: Bachelor?s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master?s degree preferred. 2. Experience: a. Minimum 12 years of experience in project lifecycle (SDLC) with at least 4+ years of hands-on experience, IT infrastructure, or systems architecture. b. Proven hands-on experience with AWS cloud native services. 3. Certifications: a. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate b. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (Good to have) 4. Technical Skills: a. Deep understanding of AWS architecture, networking, and security. b. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar scripting languages. c. Strong knowledge of containerization and event-driven technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). d. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline. e. Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash languages or like other automation tools f. Experience with database technologies such as AWS RDS, DynamoDB, and Aurora.
