- The primary function of a Healthcare Insurance Claims Associate /Collector is to research and review medical claims, obtain necessary information from providers to update/correct claims and to then send to insurance payors to expedite adjudication of claims._

- Responsibilities_

**_ _**
- Contacting payors to collect on outstanding claims_
- _Research claim denials on behalf of our clients, make determination on proper next step for claim resolution_
- _Update, correct and rebill medical claims according to proper billing guidelines_
- _File Appeals for AR Denial and Auth Denials_
- _Attention to Detail and Accuracy._
- _Provides assistance/resolution to client’s inquiries_
- _Supports and assists team members_
- _Maintain a current working knowledge of all healthcare related issues and regulations_
- _Documents response activities to patient claim inquires following Genpact client guidelines and system tasks and notes_
- _Performs other related projects and duties as assigned_

- PC literate_
- _Excel knowledge is required_
- _Detail oriented and highly organized_
- _Ability to meet deadlines_
- _Articulate with good telephone skills and etiquette_
- _Must be able to work on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously_
- _Accounts receivable or collections background in a Health Care related field is a plus._
- _Relevant years of experience in US healthcare is a plus._
- _US healthcare DME experience is a plus_
- Qualifications we seek in you_

- _Excellent soft skills to deal with the sensitive employee grievances or relations_
- _Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills in English_
