**Job Description: Principal - B.Ed Girls’ College**

**Role Overview**

Lead academic, administrative, and strategic initiatives at a women-only teacher education institution. Your focus will be on upholding quality, compliance, and student well-being.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide academic and administrative leadership tailored to a female student body.
- Design, review, and implement curriculum that meets NCTE and accreditation standards.
- Supervise faculty recruitment, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional policies.
- Oversee daily operations—budgeting, infrastructure, student services.
- Promote safe and supportive campus environment sensitive to girls’ needs.
- Build partnerships with schools, alumnae, and community stakeholders.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- **Education**:

- M.Ed and B.Ed (minimum 55% marks each)
- Additional master’s degree (e.g., Arts, Science)
- Ph.D. in Education preferred
- **Experience**:

- Minimum 10 years teaching in teacher education.
- Leadership or administrative experience desirable
- **Skills**:

- Strong leadership, organization, and decision-making
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of accreditation, quality assurance, and educational regulations
