Role - Product Owner

**Job Purpose**:
Nest Digital has developed a production management platform for a global leader in the Oil & Gas segment. Nest Digital continues to enhance, develop more capabilities as well as manage the platform for past many years.

The **purpose** of this role is split between:

- Overseeing product ownership of the production management platform (60%) &
- Driving business growth initiatives within the same customer in other verticals/locations (40%).

The primary KRA here would Customer Satisfaction & Revenue growth for Nest Digital by means of development and maintainance of this particular platform. The growth can be into other verticals/locations.

Further there are several business divisions/locations which are untapped & offer huge potential for Nest Digital. This role will also be responsible building right relationships through stakeholder engagement, thereby bringing more business to Nest Digital.

The role will currently report to the P&L Leader of Industrial Business unit and in future will evolve into the head of delivery unit once the product attains the right breadth and consistent business growth is established.

**Responsibilities**:
**Product Owner (60%)**
- Product Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with customer needs and business objectives in the oil and gas sector.
- Backlog Management: Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, ensuring the most valuable and impactful features are delivered.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, sales, and operations to gather requirements, share updates, and adjust product priorities.
- Agile Methodology: Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives with development teams to ensure timely delivery and alignment.
- Market Analysis: Conduct regular market research to ensure the product remains competitive, valuable, and up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.
- User Experience & Testing: Oversee product testing and improvements based on user feedback, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

**Business Growth (40%)**
- Growth Strategy Development: Identify and develop strategies to drive growth, expand market share, and penetrate new divisions/locations within the customer.
- Revenue Goals: Collaborate with the Leadership teams to establish revenue goals based on Farming and Mining
- Market Intelligence: Perform competitive analysis and stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities.
- Partnership Development: Cultivate strategic partnerships to enhance product offerings and broaden market access.
- Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data analytics to track performance, evaluate growth efforts, and identify areas for improvement.
- Customer Relationship Management: Strengthen relationships with existing clients to increase loyalty, up-sell, and identify cross-selling opportunities.

The role will interact extensively with the delivery unit of industrial business, marketing and lead generation function, business finance and talent acquisition partners and the leadership team of NeST Digital.

**Knowledge, skills and experience**

**Educational Qualification**

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

**Experience**
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in business growth roles, within the oil and gas industry.
- The role requires extensive understaning of the Oil & Gas business from a functional and domain perspective. Deeper knowledge of the production management process is expected.
- Must have led or participated in digitization initiatives in O&G companies.
