**Reports to**: Design Manager / Senior Designer / Creative Director

**Location**:Kandivali

**Job Summary**:
The Interior Designer is responsible for designing interior spaces that align with the client’s vision, requirements, and budget. This role includes developing design concepts, creating detailed drawings, selecting materials, and overseeing the installation process. The Interior Designer ensures that designs meet functional, safety, and aesthetic standards while maintaining adherence to budgets and timelines.

**Key Responsibilities**:1. Design Development**:

- Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and goals for the project.
- Develop design concepts that align with the client’s vision and project scope, including space planning, color schemes, and furniture layouts.
- Create mood boards, sketches, and presentations to communicate design ideas to clients.

**2. Technical Drawings & Documentation**:

- Prepare detailed drawings and plans, including floor layouts, elevations, sections, and 3D renderings using software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar.
- Create detailed construction and installation documents for contractors, electricians, and other specialists.
- Ensure all design drawings and plans comply with building codes, safety regulations, and local zoning laws.

**3. Material & Furniture Selection**:

- Source and select materials, finishes, furnishings, lighting, and fixtures that meet the design’s aesthetic and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure materials and furniture within the project's budget.
- Coordinate the ordering and delivery of materials, ensuring timely installation and quality.

**4. Client Presentations & Feedback**:

- Present design concepts, drawings, and materials to clients for review and approval.
- Revise designs based on client feedback, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with the project’s objectives.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to keep them updated on project progress and changes.

**5. Project Coordination & Site Management**:

- Oversee the implementation of the design on-site, coordinating with contractors, electricians, plumbers, and other specialists to ensure designs are executed correctly.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and resolve any issues that arise during installation.
- Ensure that projects are completed within the specified timelines and budgets.

**6. Budget & Cost Management**:

- Prepare project cost estimates, ensuring that designs align with the client’s budget.
- Track expenses throughout the project, ensuring that costs stay within the approved budget.
- Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.

**7. Sustainability & Innovation**:

- Integrate sustainable design practices, such as energy-efficient lighting, eco-friendly materials, and waste reduction strategies.
- Stay up to date with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies, incorporating innovative solutions into projects.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- 3-5 years of professional experience in interior design.
- Experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality design projects.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong understanding of space planning, color theory, and material selection.
- Knowledge of construction methods and building codes.
- **Creative Skills**: Ability to blend creativity with practicality in design solutions.
- **Project Management**: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, contractors, and team members.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to resolve design and construction challenges efficiently.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Interior design: 1 year (preferred)
