**Job Purpose**:
Manage insurance claims and settlements of patients in a timely manner, while ensuring a great patient experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee administration of medical services to insurance and corporate patients or/and customers of the hospital
- Liaise with insurance companies regarding eligibility, payments, reconciliation and
- other requirements
- Review insurance claims to ensure accuracy as per agreement, prior to dispatch to respective insurance companies
- Proactively report critical issues to management and submit monthly aging and other reports to line manager and Accounts
- Design, update and implement policies, procedures and protocols to ensure efficiency and accuracy in insurance operations
- Monitor insurance discounts, rejections and submits periodic reports to the management for review
- Ensure that the insurance schemes are up to date on the system
- Attend and organize the insurance presentation internally and externally
- Prepare final bills according to the insurance tariffs
- Follow up with insurance companies for clearing the outstanding balances
- Counsel on surgical estimations to patients according to insurance tariffs
- Identify short payments and other deductions and intimate billing/ finance managers
- Maintain TAT for document dispatch post claim submission

**Job Specifications**:

- Qualification: Degree in Accounting or similar stream
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in managing similar roles in hospitals
- Technical Skills: Accounting, Record Management, MS office
- Management Skills: Be a good team player, maintain good people relations, practice conflict resolution
- Communication Skills: Good command over English, Kannada. Ability to resolve problems through effective communication

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
