**Job Title: IP Billing and Insurance Executive**

**Location**: Ovum Hospitals, Battarahalli Branch, Bangalore

**Required only with Hospitals experience.**

**Overview**:As an IP Billing and Insurance Executive at Ovum Hospitals in Battarahalli Branch, you will be responsible for managing the entire inpatient billing process, insurance claims, and related administrative duties to ensure efficient revenue cycle management while providing exceptional customer service to patients.

**Responsibilities**:
**Inpatient Billing**:Handle end-to-end inpatient billing processes, including admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility for inpatient services.
Generate and issue accurate bills for services rendered to inpatients, ensuring compliance with hospital pricing and policies.

**Insurance Claims Processing **:Prepare and submit insurance claims to various providers promptly and accurately.
Follow up on pending claims, denials, or rejections to ensure timely resolution.
Collaborate with insurance companies to resolve billing and claim discrepancies.

**Documentation and Record-Keeping**:Maintain detailed and organized records of billing and insurance-related information.
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling patient data.

**Patient Interaction and Support**:Address patient queries related to billing, insurance coverage, and payments.
Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits and financial responsibilities.
Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues or concerns in a timely manner.

**Collaboration and Reporting**:Liaise with internal departments such as Finance, Medical Records, and Front Desk to streamline billing processes.
Generate regular reports on billing, claims status, and revenue collections for management review.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bcom, Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in hospital IP billing and insurance procedures, preferably within Ovum Hospitals or similar healthcare settings.
- Proficient in using billing software and understanding of insurance claim processing systems.
- Strong knowledge of medical billing codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) and insurance regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
