REPORTS TO Project Manager SUPERVISES Designer Minimum Required

Educational Background Bachelor In Technology - Mechanical (B.Tech.‐Mech.)/ Electrical Minimum

Required Skills And Trainings Diploma In Piping Design & Engineering (PGD‐PDE),), Diploma In Mechanical CADD ‐ Auto‐CADSoftware’s (Pro‐E, Gas‐Works, Pipe Net,)

Certified course on relevant NFPADUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

LPG System:

- Site survey procedures as per local information and Guidelines.

Shop drawings submission and technical discussion
- Obtain approvals and inform to concerns to proceed with further works.

Raise Final Inspection Request after completion of work from project;
- Comply the comments raised through Final Inspection report
- Complete the Project Code related procedure.

Fuel Oil System:

- Coordinate with to obtain Quotation & Fuel oil tanks. Obtain the necessary approvals
- After completion of work inform GASCO to provide diesel filling with necessary approvals from GASCO.

Attend Client, Consultant, Main contractor meeting (Design related) to provide expertize / solution in LPG;
- SNG, NG System; Fuel Oil System; Fire Fighting System; Compressed Air system; Medical Gas System; Gas
- Detection System; etc.

Coordination with other Company's department and Clients, Consultant, Main Contractor for following:

- To get the necessary inputs to proceed with Site survey, Final Inspection, etc.;
- Obtain necessary layouts (drawings), IFC Drawings to allot designers;
- Project Specification compliance, datasheet;
- Attend meeting with ‐ Third party for HAZOP & QCDD for technical clarification. Preparation & or verification of Technical documents like:

- Materials Submittals;
- Method statement and JSA;
- Project Specification compliance, datasheet;
- Operation & Maintenance Manual (O&M);
- Fire safety Analysis, Risk Assessment;
- Design calculations & verification ‐ Equipment size/ capacity, Pipe sizing, etc.;
- Drawing verification - Layout, P&ID’s as per Quotation, Code & standards;
- Design calculations & verification ‐ Equipment size/ capacity, Pipe sizing using software’s, etc.;
- Drawing verification - Layout, P&ID’s as per Quotation, Code & standards.

To comply with the Quality and HSE standards and to report the concerned in case of any non-compliance of the abovestandards noticed.

The Employee is required to perform other duties associated with the position at all times.

Exercising effective control over the work force on site

Ensuring that work is executed in accordance with the approved drawings specifications

Preparation of designated procedures

Ensure that the safety rules and regulations are communicated to the work force and are fully enforced

Site surveying and setting out, dimensional controlØ Preparation of documents, logic circuits, related to the project

Monitoring of all sub-contractors work closely to ensure that the quality of the work as per specification

Competing all necessary Q.A. documentation related to the work, coordinate daily site inspections and with othercontractors for system interfaces

Coordinate with QA/QC for approval of construction material, tools ,equipment’s, installation

Effective management of progress of work at site

Attend the site related all meeting with client/consultant or with other contractors

Ensuring that all information on drawing is conveyed the workforce in a proper manner

Preparation of marked up drawings for as built drawing

Responsible for the commissioning programs including electrical, mechanical

Monitors day to day activities at fabrication shop or construction site

Testing ,energization, Programming, calibration of different panel/ equipment’s in various project like, LPG, Diesel,medical and system

Ensure commissioning recourse requirement needed on site are available

Collect and review physical progress data and reporting to Project Manager

Ensure that the commissioning team preparation of commissioning manuals and maintenance manual & Setting up thecommissioning strategy document

Ensure commissioning schedule which supports the overall construction schedule

Manage the project scheduling team to complete and update the schedule of commissioning as required

Ensure provision of testing commissioning plan for the facility /equipment to meet health & safety

Attend the site inspection with Local authorities Like GASCO, QCDD etc

Log and transfer the daily attendance of work force to accounts

Conduct end user training, hand over the project to Gasco Maintenance department

Submit periodical report of the activities to the Project Manager.

Pay: ₹8,721.05 - ₹44,458.86 per month
