If you would like some flexibility then please discuss this with the hiring manager. - You will work closely with front office sponsors based in Singapore and Tokyo to document, design and deliver changes to the existing structures rates stack and other platforms in order to accommodate local markets currencies and business growth in APAC. - Implement Functional solutions, unit test & coordinate releases and where applicable contribute to design sessions. - Interact with end users & business analysts to understand their requirements and build solution pertaining to that. - Work as a part of a local team and liaise regularly with colleagues in other regions. **What will you be doing?** - Strong Java and development skills, including multi-threaded programming and SQL experience. - Ability to effectively communicate with end-users and other developers in a global, team-based environment - Strong inter-personal skills with ability to communicate thoughts, designs, and implementations in both written and verbal form - Results-oriented, self-starter with positive "can-do" attitude. **What we’re looking for**: - Four-year college degree in Computer Science or related field from a premier insititute. **Skills that will help you in the role**: - Solid knowledge on Core Java and Object Oriented Programming - Understanding of agile methodology, Scrum, DevOps, cloud technologies will be an added advantage **Where will you be working?** Pune **Be More at Barclays** Interested and want to know more about Barclays?
