Equipment maintenance: Wastewater operators clean and maintain equipment, tanks, and other work areas. Regulatory compliance: They ensure that the wastewater treatment process complies with local, state, and federal regulations. Safety procedures: They follow strict safety procedures when handling chemicals and operating equipment. Troubleshooting: They may troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and address any problems that arise during the treatment process.
