An office intern is essential for the smooth operation of administrative functions in the Radiology Department. Their responsibilities include providing support, coordinating appointments, maintaining records, and facilitating communication, making them a valuable asset in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1.Administrative Support**
- **Scheduling and Appointment Coordination**:

- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations.

**Data Entry and Record Maintenance**:

- Accurately enter patient demographics, insurance information, and procedure results into the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Maintain patient files, including medical records, images, and reports.
- Prepare and maintain statistical reports on department activity.

**Inventory Management**:

- Assist in maintaining adequate inventory levels of supplies and equipment.
- Track and order supplies as needed.
- **Office Maintenance**:

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with general office tasks such as answering phones, filing, and photocopying.

**2. Patient Coordination**
- **Greet and Register Patients**:

- Welcome patients to the department and provide them with necessary information.
- Verify patient identification and collect co-pays or other payments.
- Prepare patients for their procedures by providing instructions and answering any questions.
- **Provide Patient Education**:

- Explain procedures to patients in a clear and concise manner.
- Answer patient questions about their care and provide support.
- Educate patients on post-procedure care instructions.
- **Address Patient Concerns**:

- Respond promptly and effectively to patient inquiries and concerns.
- Escalate any unresolved issues to the appropriate staff.

**3. Record Keeping**
- **Maintain Accurate Medical Records**:

- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of patient medical records.
- File and retrieve medical records as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.

**4. Communication**
- **Internal Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with physicians, technicians, nurses, and other staff members.
- Coordinate patient care between different departments.
- Relay important information to the appropriate personnel.
- **External Communication**:

- Communicate with patients, families, and referring physicians.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments with referring physicians.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹9,000.00 per month
